Project Overview
Based on the site conditions shown in the project photos, this Davie, Florida home required full hardwood floor-and-stair refinishing in a large open layout with a hallway tie-in and fireplace focal area. During prep, the team discovered mold under portions of the original hardwood and completed full mitigation before proceeding. Even with that unplanned remediation, the crew maintained the original schedule and delivered the completed project in 6 days.
Scope: 6-day hardwood restoration across an open-concept living area, hallway, and stairs: sanding, unplanned mold mitigation discovered under sections of the original floor, stair-edge detail work, and final protective topcoat application.
Result: Converted worn, uneven, and patchy wood into a consistent natural-oak finish with improved durability, cleaner stair transitions, and brighter light reflection across the main living space. The mold issue under the original hardwood was fully mitigated and resolved.
